I was greatly surprised and delighted to receive your ‘Great Wheel of the Sun’ and I had the pleasure of working through its pages the other day with my colleague, Anthony Saunders. I particularly love the second and third songs, which seem to source and define both melody and a mood of melancholy, embracing both facets with a sense of line and warmth. Thank you for sending me the music and for the dedication, which I much appreciate.
