REVIEWS

Elegy provides an excellent addition to any organist’s repertoire of voluntaries. An effective blend of fluent melodic lines in manuals and a steady bass line in the pedals creates an interesting texture throughout the piece. Towards the end, the chords create a warm and reflective mood. This is a piece that can be played as a voluntary at a variety of occasions.

Krystyna Palamarchuk, music teacher and organist, London
